OXO Tower Restaurant by Corinne Natel

Superluminal Summer

A new exhibition curated exclusively for OXO Tower. This collection of abstract paintings by contemporary London artist Corinne Natel was inspired by the colours and nature in summer. Aptly named Superluminal Summer, she draws on the energy of her beautiful garden in North West London to create a collection that alludes to another vibrant world. Specialising in abstract mixed media paintings, Corinne has sold works in the UK and internationally. Her work is often season-based and she masterfully investigates colour, form, space and texture.

Available artworks on display at Oxo Tower Restaurant

This summer collection of paintings with ArteMea and Lafontaine Contemporary Art will be displayed at OXO Tower Restaurant throughout the summer.

All works are for sale subject to availability. Please speak to a member of staff or email Laura Pivetta: laura@artemeaadvisory.com for more artwork details and sales enquiries.

Hyper-Colour-Pop-Culture - Endless and Ernesto Romano

HYPER-COLOUR-POP-CULTURE

7 pm on 16th May - Alon Zakaim Fine Art

This May, The Auction Collective presents Hyper-Colour-Pop-Culture - an auction that brings together the bright and vibrant worlds of urban art, pop culture and geometric abstraction. ArteMea artist’s agency, who represent creative talents and supports the work of several inspiring individuals, presents two artists in the Hyper-Colour-Pop-Culture auction: the Italian pop artist, Ernesto Romano and British artist, Endless.

Looking forward to seeing you at Alon Zakaim Fine Art, 5-7 Dover Street (W1S 4LD) at 7 pm on 16th May for the Auction.

Lizzie Vuitton Blue

Estimate: £10,000 - 15,000

Signed 'Endless' (lower right)
Mixed media with gold leaf and resin on canvas
Framed: 125 x 95 cm.
Painted in 2018

The Queen, Louis Vuitton and gold leaf combine to form a painting of icons from the London-based urban artist's Brand Worship series.

Endless creates artwork that comments on modern society's "worship of high-end brands and constant desire for luxury items". In Lizzie Vuitton Blue, the gold leaf and designer symbols are layered around the Queen - a person the artist recognises as Britain's ultimate icon.

The playful expression of the Queen is Endless' nod to the British punk scene, a subject that features throughout his artwork. To mark the 40th anniversary of punk, the artist was even commissioned by Liberty London to create an monumental homage to movement on Regent Street.

Lizzie Vuitton Blue was featured on the cover of Damn Magazine - A European magazine on Contemporary Culture.

Endless

Endless' paintings are collected internationally and have been exhibited throughout London, including as a large-scale installation in the windows of Liberty's London. Endless gained media attention with his London billboard campaign to raise awareness of body shaming adverts. He has also presented his timeless CHAPEL artwork on the walls of the landmark Oxo Tower and a on a video installation at the windows of Flannel’s Building at Oxford Street. Endless' artwork can also be found at Contini Contemporary Gallery, London.

The Importance of Being Earnest

Estimate: £1,800 - 2,800

Signed and dated (on the reverse)
Chromogenic print with perspex reverse mounting
100 x 100 cm.
Created in 2015
This work is number 5 from an edition of 5.

This self-portrait consists of 40 coloured x-rays of the artist's skull.

Ernesto Romano is an Italian artist living and working in London. His work explores the common truths hidden behind human behaviour. By looking at what lies behind the facade of our appearances, emotions and status, the artist reflects on the shared vulnerabilities of human nature - "when stripped of our adornments, we all look the same underneath".

This work was selected by Art Below for its installation at Holborn Underground Station - an initiative that uses billboard spaces to display artworks that enrich the everyday life of the traveling public.

ONE STEP AHEAD - Collaboration ArteMea & ArtMoorhouse

A collective exhibition by BettyBellù - Noel Shelly - Patrizia Dottori

From May 15th to June 28th

The expression and communication of emotions is one of the most basic motives for artists both in dance as in visual art.

The dance creates a very different perception of time and space for the dancer: time is marked by the rhythmic ordering of movement and by the duration of the dance, and
space is organised around the paths along which the dancer travels or around the shapes made by the body. Grace fluidly of movements, equilibrium, and harmony are among the skills which are required by dancers who use bodies as the instruments through which the art is created.

Costumes, rhythms, sequences of steps dance evokes traditions and history, guiding our imagination into new and fantastic places.

Four visual artists have used different media to interpret the dance world. From ballet and contemporary dance to the rhythms of South American and African tribal dances where movement and dresses evoke beauty and emotions.

OXO Tower Restaurant by DD Regalo

Atmosphere collection

“I intended for people to think about the forces that influence and impact us beyond what we can directly see – the natural world, including energy, has a very powerful impact on our daily lives that might not be obviously evident.” – DD REGALO

In his new body of work, Atmosphere, Regalo explores the seemingly vast ‘empty’ space around us and suggests that there may be more than meets the eye. Referencing nature – forests, mountains, reflections on water and light – the collection features 5 original paintings on raw canvas including a 6-meter long installation inspired by the River Thames.

Applying a fluid and intuitive process, Regalo created each work in a single sitting, from beginning to completion, attempting to give each piece a distinct and uncontrived spirit and story. Using inks and dyes applied to loose raw canvas, Regalo’s process breaks traditional painting convention while achieving meaningful simplicity.

Crotch Grab by Endless

EXHIBITION: 12 - 30 APRIL 2018 -

Umlaut" collaboration with blattler and ArteMea

Endless is a London-based artist. His provocative and radical creations tell a story of our world that is bold and intense. Starting out using the walls of our nation’s capital as his canvas, Endless’s reputation has risen to capture the attention of its residents, foreign visitors and the media alike.

The public buzz around his work has snowballed, to a point where now iconic brands, celebrities and the art world all know his name. Today, Endless continues to devote a large portion of time to art on the streets. But his most exclusive work can be found in London’s most prolific galleries, as well as within the homes of the well-established.

Endless's work often provides an unfiltered insight into how aggressive brand advertising has taken society hostage, acting as the new unified faith across the world. One of the artist's most iconic works is the Calvin Classics Marky Mark, a tongue-in-cheek take on Mark Wahlberg's Calvin Klein advert from the 90s. In these pieces, Endless does away with the original Calvin Klein branding on the waistline, replacing it with the fake alternative Calvin Classic motif, a nod to the growth of the fake brand as mainstream society seeks to buy-into often unaffordable luxury fashion trends. For added impact the model is also depicted wearing a military helmet which enforces the ultra masculine aesthetics.

Contrary to the controversial nature of this artwork, the striking image raised so much public interest that Channel 4 requested to use it for a viral testicular cancer campaign called, Feeling Nuts. The image was also flagged by world famous UK art due, Gilbert and George, who used it in a collaborative artwork for a 2016 Singapore exhibition titled Utopian Pictures.

Endless has continued to evolve this image on the streets and galleries with dynamic poses while continuing the iconic style of the original work and conveying the same message. Endless believes this image speaks on many levels to the viewer and looks forward to taking this image as far as it can go.
