The expression and communication of emotions is one of the most basic motives for artists both in dance as in visual art.
The dance creates a very different perception of time and space for the dancer: time is marked by the rhythmic ordering of movement and by the duration of the dance, and
space is organised around the paths along which the dancer travels or around the shapes made by the body. Grace fluidly of movements, equilibrium, and harmony are among the skills which are required by dancers who use bodies as the instruments through which the art is created.
Costumes, rhythms, sequences of steps dance evokes traditions and history, guiding our imagination into new and fantastic places.
Four visual artists have used different media to interpret the dance world. From ballet and contemporary dance to the rhythms of South American and African tribal dances where movement and dresses evoke beauty and emotions.

“I intended for people to think about the forces that influence and impact us beyond what we can directly see – the natural world, including energy, has a very powerful impact on our daily lives that might not be obviously evident.” – DD REGALO
In his new body of work, Atmosphere, Regalo explores the seemingly vast ‘empty’ space around us and suggests that there may be more than meets the eye. Referencing nature – forests, mountains, reflections on water and light – the collection features 5 original paintings on raw canvas including a 6-meter long installation inspired by the River Thames.
Applying a fluid and intuitive process, Regalo created each work in a single sitting, from beginning to completion, attempting to give each piece a distinct and uncontrived spirit and story. Using inks and dyes applied to loose raw canvas, Regalo’s process breaks traditional painting convention while achieving meaningful simplicity.

EXHIBITION: 12 - 30 APRIL 2018 -
Endless is a London-based artist. His provocative and radical creations tell a story of our world that is bold and intense. Starting out using the walls of our nation’s capital as his canvas, Endless’s reputation has risen to capture the attention of its residents, foreign visitors and the media alike.
The public buzz around his work has snowballed, to a point where now iconic brands, celebrities and the art world all know his name. Today, Endless continues to devote a large portion of time to art on the streets. But his most exclusive work can be found in London’s most prolific galleries, as well as within the homes of the well-established.
Endless's work often provides an unfiltered insight into how aggressive brand advertising has taken society hostage, acting as the new unified faith across the world. One of the artist's most iconic works is the Calvin Classics Marky Mark, a tongue-in-cheek take on Mark Wahlberg's Calvin Klein advert from the 90s. In these pieces, Endless does away with the original Calvin Klein branding on the waistline, replacing it with the fake alternative Calvin Classic motif, a nod to the growth of the fake brand as mainstream society seeks to buy-into often unaffordable luxury fashion trends. For added impact the model is also depicted wearing a military helmet which enforces the ultra masculine aesthetics.
Contrary to the controversial nature of this artwork, the striking image raised so much public interest that Channel 4 requested to use it for a viral testicular cancer campaign called, Feeling Nuts. The image was also flagged by world famous UK art due, Gilbert and George, who used it in a collaborative artwork for a 2016 Singapore exhibition titled Utopian Pictures.
Endless has continued to evolve this image on the streets and galleries with dynamic poses while continuing the iconic style of the original work and conveying the same message. Endless believes this image speaks on many levels to the viewer and looks forward to taking this image as far as it can go.
We will be open from 26th February to 25th March 2018

Street Art Supporting Animal Welfare in the UK
Paul’s friend Jess works very closely with animal rescues, so with her help and Paul’s generous heart we approached two animal shelters, New Hope and Furry Friends Animal Rescue. The proposal was to raise awareness for animal welfare through street art, whilst also raising funds through print sales.
To help deliver the message Paul collaborated with DDRegalo, combining the Pink Bear Cat with his typography slogan “Home Is A Feeling”.
The art work painted on the street is set behind a tall fence, where the Pink Bear and cat appear to be caged in and need to escape to find a new home. This supports the movement of the charities’ focus on improving standards for animal treatment as well as ensuring animals in need get proper care and homes.
To raise funds for the rescues we have created 3 versions of the artwork.
10 unique platinum editions, 76cm x 56cm (£800)
30 unique silver editions, 76cm x 56cm (£450)
and 100 affordable giclee limited edition prints, 38cm x 28cm (£100)
The prints will be going on sale Friday 27th at 12pm BST.
To pre register for a print please email email@example.com
Otherwise prints will be available here https://store.luapstudios.co.uk/
You can purchase the prints by emailing ArteMea at firstname.lastname@example.org
This project is supported by Market Road Gallery, ArteMea and Forest Recycling Project
New Hope Animal Rescue
New Hope Animal Rescue is an Independent, non-destruct rescue dedicated to helping animals on death row and those with medical and or behavioural needs. We work with many other rescues and authorities to safeguard the welfare of animals and rehabilitate and rehome them properly.
Furry Friends Animal Rescue
Furry Friends Animal Rescue is a home-run rescue located in Old Coulsdon, Surrey established in March 1999, dealing with various types of animals including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, terrapins and smaller caged animals. We pride ourselves on being a non-destruct rescue, as well as operating a backup for life policy. There is a set adoption fee for all animals and this must be paid before we release the animal for adoption.
If an animal is not suitable for rehoming then we offer it a home for life. These are known as 'The Sanctuary Animals' and they remain in our care to the end of their lives. We take the term 'non destruct' very seriously unless the animal is terminally ill and suffering and there is no other option than euthanasia. We do not euthanise for behavioural issues.
Forest Recycling Project donated the paint for the project. Another great service which I didn’t know existed until this project. FRP collects surplus, leftover paint from Re-use & Recycling Centres and commercial companies. The paint is then sorted, quality-checked, re-mixed if need be, and sold as a ‘green’, low-cost alternative to new paint, including for lower income customers, community groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations.
